Wow, I have had a busy few months! For the last 3 months I've left the warmth of Phoenix for the chill of Seattle to do my hypnosis shows. And when I say warmth what I really mean is hotter than the surface of the sun!
These shows were a quite a variety so I got to practice my skills in a wide range of venues and a wide range of ages. I've worked with kids in my hypnotherapy practice but hadn't had them on stage until this last run of shows. I had kids as young as 10 all the way up to high school students. (Ok, don't tell them I called them kids :)) I did the high school graduation parties for a few schools and the grads were amazing to work with. So much enthusiasm and very receptive to the hypnotic suggestions on stage. I was amazed at the kind of entertainment offered at the grad parties - wow! Some offered dinner cruises, comedians, adult sized bouncy houses, and so much more. I think my grad party was movies in the gym.
I was a little scared to work with the elementary school kids, LOL! As I said I've had great success with kids in my hypnotherapy practice but on stage wasn't sure how it would go. I knew that kids are generally more suggestible than adults because they are still very creative and imaginative. Several of the kids were really spectacular. And all of them were delightful subjects.
I was also able to help a very worthy cause providing a show for the Sumner, WA Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society.
AND I had my best show yet at one of my favorite venues,
. The audience was awesome and the volunteers were hysterical.
I'd finally created and began selling my new hypnosis cd's which were a big hit.
Alright, time to go. I've gotta start working on booking my comedy hypnosis show for those corporate and other holiday parties and more grad shows next year! Woo hoo!
