Are you using food for fuel or for entertainment or possibly to alleviate boredom? Many of my weight loss and healthy lifestyle clients find that once they start adding more fun activities into their life food becomes less important.
So many people are using food to change their brain chemistry instead of just addressing the brain chemistry directly through exercise or fun activities or even just time with friends.
There's no doubt that eating junk food can make us feel good... temporarily. We often call them comfort foods but there is nothing comforting about the way they make us feel.
And of course, sadly it's not healthy fruits and vegetables that people are usually turning to in these cases. Whether you want to eat a keto diet, or wondering how to do th Paleo diet, or have just decided to eat less and move more to lose weight you'll have much more success when you focus Less on food.
